It’s a mixed start today with brighter spells for some, while others see a
greyer start with patchy rain or drizzle, especially over higher ground.
Through the afternoon, southern areas may see some brighter breaks,
while northern parts could hang onto the odd bit of rain. Winds will
gradually strengthen later in the day with highs around
11°C.
This evening and tonight brings a spell of more active weather as a band
of heavy rain and strong winds sweeps eastwards. The rain should clear
during the early hours leaving clearer spells and a few showers behind.
