Cloud Thickening Tonight – Heavier Rain on the Way Tomorrow!!
Cloud will steadily build in from the east this evening, bringing some patchy drizzle as the night goes on. Winds will also strengthen overnight, especially over higher ground. It’ll feel chilly, but most places should stay frost-free, with temperatures dipping to around 4°C by morning.
Thursday looks grey and unsettled. A band of rain pushes northwards through the day, bringing heavy and prolonged downpours in places, along with some snow over the hills. Strong winds are likely to persist, adding to the cold feel, with daytime highs only around 6°C.
Looking ahead, the unsettled theme sticks around into the weekend. Expect further heavy showers and spells of steady rain, though there will be the odd brighter break at times. Breezy conditions continue, so it’ll feel fairly raw at times.
