NW England Weather Forecast: Wednesday, February 25th 2026
Largely cloudy with some rain today, remaining changeable through the week!!!
It’s a grey start with spots of rain and drizzle, especially across Cumbria. Southern areas may see a few brighter moments early on, but thicker cloud and patchy drizzle will gradually spread south through the day. Brisk SW’ly expected at times but still mild for the time of year, with highs around 13°C.
Tonight stays mostly cloudy with further patches of drizzle drifting through. Winds remain noticeable, and the cloud cover will keep temperatures fairly high overnight, with lows near 8°C.
Thursday looks much more unsettled, bringing spells of heavy rain and strong winds — particularly around coasts and over higher ground where it could feel quite blustery. Not quite as mild, but still above average, with temperatures around 11°C.
Looking ahead, Friday remains unsettled with further rain at times. Saturday offers a drier and possibly brighter break before more rain spreads in later and into Sunday. It stays often windy, with temperatures settling back closer to seasonal levels.
